Martial Arts Academy Prague offer classes dedicated to individual development in all phases of life. From early childhood through adulthood, continual development (physical and mental) is the key to a healthy and fulfilling life. We believe that the study of martial arts at any age can push an individual to continually develop through training of the body and mind, development of core values, leadership skills and self confidence.
From ages 4-6 we teach children in our TIGER classes with a focus on discipline, keeping the classes full of energy and fun.
The TAEKWONDO FOR KIDS program starts from 6 years and focuses on the teaching of our core values of DISCIPLINE, RESPECT, HONESTY, SELF-ESTEEM, BELIEF and COMMUNICATION. We want our young people to know that leadership and success are in their own hands.
Adults will also find a place to grow through our classes. Focusing on discipline in all aspects of life along with the honing of important leadership skills our LEADERSHIP CLASSES are the perfect balance between training the body and training the mind.
The overall goal in EVERY class for EVERY age is that we SWEAT, we LEARN something new and we have FUN!
Children
Our program for children is divided into our TIGERS program for children ages 4-7 and our KIDS program for ages 7-13. These classes are high-energy, fun and focused on creating disciplined and confident children who can fully enjoy and engage with the world around them. Progress in these programs is based not only on how each student performs in training, but also how they are meeting their goals in other areas of life (School, Home, etc.)

Teens
In our Teens program for ages 13-18, we aim to help our students through every aspect of this stage of development. Our goal is to develop the confidence to face all of life’s challenges. Through consistent training our students develop their physical fitness and agility, learn basic self-defense, relieve stress and most importantly develop a confident and respectful character.

Adults
Our Adults program aims to train the body AND the mind. We want our adult students to be strong physically and mentally. Whether in the traditional program, or our Warrior Defense program adult students will find many ways to challenge themselves. Our Adult classes have a great atmosphere and energy and whether the goal is to be healthier, to gain skill in self-defense or to gain mental discipline and confidence our adult students support each other in reaching those goals.

A WORD FROM MS. FREEMAN
Thank you for your interest in Martial Arts Academy Prague. At MAA we believe that everyone can benefit from martial arts training. Whether you are looking for a unique activity for your child, or a new challenge for yourself, MAA will help fulfill that goal. While all our training is high energy and physical, we aim first to develop strong CHARACTER in our students, consistently reinforcing our life skills of DISCIPLINE, RESPECT, HONESTY, SELF-ESTEEM, BELIEF and COMMUNICATION.
As Chief Instructor, it is my personal goal to help students of all ages prepare for any challenge life may bring. I began training Martial Arts as an adult and so am very passionate about the mental and physical benefits this training can bring. After 15 years of training and 8 years as a Certified Instructor I can say that what keeps me motivated and passionate is the growth I see in my students and the fantastic community of like-minded instructors and students I have met over the years who continue to inspire me.
I believe that one of the keys to a full and satisfying life is to be constantly learning. In our kid’s programs students are learning martial art techniques to increase coordination and skill, but also learning important life skills to help them move confidently through life and interact with the world around them. In our adult classes, we challenge our students to be constantly setting goals, improving character, improving physical fitness and skill and developing a warrior mindset to achieve whatever goals they set in life.
